Bill Example #1: Paid monthly, payment is always the same
Describe mortgage payments in the New Bill window. PITI means Principle, Interest, Taxes,
Insurance.
1. Payment is made with an automatic deduction from the cashflow space's checking
account.
2. Since the payment is made automatically, there is no need for a payment lead time.
3. Payments are due on the 5th of each month.
4. The first mortgage payment was made in October, 2022.
5. Being a 30-year mortgage, payments will happen 360 times (12 payments/year times 30
years).
6. Labor Day is the only holiday on which the payment could possibly be scheduled.
7. When a payment falls on a holiday or weekend, the payment is rescheduled to the
following business day.
8. The bill is included in the cashflow spreadsheet.
