Amortizing a high credit card balance
A customized payoff (amortization) plan for a credit card with a large balance is created with the
amortization feature in PerNetFlow. The payoff plan can be based on your choice of:
● a monthly payment amount, or
● how many payments you want to make.
There are two restrictions on this feature. A credit card:
● that is being used to pay at least one bill cannot be amortized
● cannot be used while it is being amortized
The credit card for which an amortization plan is being created, along with all current charging
activity, must have been entered and be up-to-date in your cashflow spreadsheet before creating
an amortization schedule.
