Planning cashflow for clients
Financial planners can also use PerNetFlow to help clients plan their cashflow for the next
twelve months. With no limit on the number of cashflow spaces, an unlimited number of clients
can be supported with one copy of the program (assuming sufficient disk space is available).
A spreadsheet for planning cashflow is created by adding only income and expenses (bills) and
never paying bills in the cashflow space. The spreadsheet is a projection of income vs. expenses
that is always current and easy to maintain.
The chart of Net Income vs. Expenses is an excellent way to communicate with clients.
When using PerNetFlow to manage cashflow for clients, I recommend not entering any of your
own Contacts or bill and credit card Contact Info. Keeping your personal contact information out
of the copy of PerNetFlow that you use for clients simplifies the sharing of cashflow spaces with
your clients.
